Nokia X5 Qwerty Slider Phone

Nokia presents a different concept on new mobile phone named X5. Exit from the conventional path that usually candy bar or elongated oval, this vendor carries X5 with the form box. In this review, Nokia X5 intentionally presenting this box concept because it is intended for young children.

Samsung F480 Tocco - Small and stylish Touchscreen mobile phone

Samsung F480 Tocco is well known for its design and features. This handset is the most demanding phone among the fashion conscious people. Tocco is the Italian word for touch, and as you may have guessed, the Tocco SGH-F480 is Samsung’s latest touchscreen phone to hit the market. Once again, comparisons to the iPhone are inevitable, and although the Tocco is no iPhone killer - not that such a thing exists - it does sport at least a couple of features - haptic feedback and a 5 megapixel camera - that better Apple’s iconic device.
The touch screen is based on the high resolution in the pixels of 240 x 320. The touch screen can support up to 262K colours. This product is a 3G HSDPA phone that comes with awesome design. This device also supports GPRS and EDGE network that is used for sending data at the high speed frequency. The capacity of the standard battery is 1000 named mAh Li-ion that supports up to 8 hours during talk time and up to 250 hours in the standby. With high capacity memory, one can store up to 1000 entries.

The Tocco’s got a regular menu of icons, but at the tap of one virtual button you can switch to the widgets – a dock of options that can be dragged on to the main screen as you please. Best of all, the Tocco interface is very fast and responsive, making the phone a cinch to use in most respects.

It also makes the phone very customisable – you can hide or display everything from the clock and reminder icons to the network’s name-check. Other options include games, the phone’s music player and the FM radio.
Samsung F480 Tocco is useful for the professional people and the businessmen. There are several features such as document viewer, mobile printing and off-line mode that are helpful for the office work. For the web-browsing, this gadget supports WAP 2.0. A person can browse various websites and can access his email accounts. This widget also supports Bluetooth feature with A2DP. One can transfer the data and images without using any wire. The Tocco Widgets are cool enough, though it’s a matter of taste whether you’ll prefer this or the icons on the iPhone. And unlike Apple’s first dog-and-bone, this one’s 3G, with spanking 7.2Mbps speeds. This is lucky as, unlike the iPhone, there’s no Wi-Fi on board the Tocco.

On the other hand, it keeps the size down – the Tocco sits much better in the hand than earlier Samsung efforts or the iPhone.
